Subscribing to the listserv

 

  1. Send the following command in a message to listserv@listserv.kent.edu
  2. sub OHIOPPI firstname lastname

    3. Thus, the entire message might look like:
    sub OHIOPPI Susan Anthony

    Do not give the message a subject. Leave the subject line blank.

  3. Send the message as an ordinary text file and turn off any signature options you use.

You will receive an automated reply. Please keep this. It will have instructions for removing your name from the listserv.

 

Sending a message to the listserv

Messages to the listserv are addressed to:

OHIOPPI@listserv.kent.edu

Everyone on the listserv will receive these messages. Please edit the email address of the recipient if you do not want to send the message to the entire list.

If you are still having problems subscribing, please me an email and I will add your name to the list. Send the email to  mebrooks@kent.edu
