are the main form of deliberation for the Ohio PPI. For a
listing of upcoming forums, please visit the news
section of the web site. However, the aim of this section is to explore and develop electronic deliberation when
appropriate. Electronic deliberations can take several forms:
Threaded Discussions - are online communications on a particular topic that is available to anyone without the need to be on the computer at the same time. Participants are able to post questions, answer questions, or comment on other postings. A variety of topics are now being deliberated on the discussion page. Listserv - is an electronic mailing list that disseminates information to many people at once through email. Users send one message to the list and then the message is sent to everyone that is subscribed. To subscribe to the listserv, please see the listserv instruction page. Chat - is a "real-time" deliberation for two to twenty individuals. Synchronous deliberations can be arranged upon demand. Please contact the webmaster for more information.
