In response to Dr. Sebaly I find the next question to regard what is true democracy? I feel with the government deciding laws and the schools becoming more political, people at the local level are losing their voice. And even if they had a stronger voice, I am not so sure the government law would allow it. It seems to me that people in our society are feeling a loss of control. This deliberation, if cared for properly, should really make some people think, especially the "builders". I at least hope it does. I don't think that schools can be anything but political after all they are public. The fears of politcal corruption threatens us all. The best thing that we can do is to get involved.
