Learning Communities
Four years ago, the earliest form of Learning Community's (FLC's) began as a program called Teaching Scholars for Junior Faculty.  Since then, Learning Communities have flourished at KSU and across the state of Ohio. This year there are seven learning communities at Kent State University fully or partially supported by the fpdc.

Grants and Funding
Faculty seeking grant support for professional development can either access the information directly through the fpdc or through programs offered outside of the fpdc.  Grants available in the fpdc are primarily mini-grants used for the purchase of equipment and technologically related teaching materials.  There are also grants available for professional development within the Kent State University community and beyond.

Research at KSU
A wide range of research support and activities are available throughout Kent State University.  The Research page offers links and information on the various departments, councils, and activities that support and celebrate research efforts at KSU.

Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups is dedicated to providing information specific to such groups as New Faculty, Part-time Faculty, Non-tenure track faculty, graduate students and faculty members who participate in special interest activities such as Service Learning, Teaching Circles, and others.
