Computer Work Stations

Computer workstations are open to faculty throughout the calendar year.  Scanning, video projects, web design and development are some of the options available.

Equipment Available for Loan

A variety of equipment is available for loan to faculty.  Digital cameras, a laptop computer, and an audio voice recorder are available to faculty and graduate assistants.

Faculty Classroom

A faculty classroom is available for department / campus meetings, special one-on-one group collaboration projects or faculty who wish to document the scholarship of teaching and learning within their classrooms.

The fpdc Faculty Classroom is used for workshops, seminars, meetings and a host of other faculty and department collaborations. It is also available for department / campus meetings, special one-on-one group collaboration projects or faculty who wish to document the scholarship of teaching and learning within their classrooms. The room has:

• an interactive Smart Board with projection system
• Elmo for transparency projection
• video cassette player
• six computer workstations
• center table for meetings and discussions
• 13 wireless laptops

Resource Materials for Loan

Housed within the fpdc studio is a resource materials library complete with books, journals, magazines, handouts, and faculty tenure and promotion files. Most resource materials can be borrowed while others such as Tenure and Promotion files must be viewed in the fpdc studio.
