Faculty and Staff Assistance Program
The Faculty/Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is designed to assist faculty, staff, family members and students employed by Kent State University with any type of personal problem or concern. The program provides professional mental health assessment, referral and short-term counseling services and offers workshops and programs geared toward increasing awareness of emotional health risk factors.  This is a free, confidential service staffed by a licensed counselor.  Workshops may be customized to suit departmental needs.

Libraries and Media Services
Libraries and Media Services is at the center of the University's intellectual life because we bring together diverse traditions of thought, belief, and inquiry. As a critical setting for scholarly inquiry and research, Libraries and Media Services provides instruction in an academic setting, research collections of books, journals, and non-print media, and instructional support services.

Office of Adult Services
The purpose of the Office of Adult Services is to facilitate adult students' enrollment and retention to Kent State University. They provide workshops or seminars for faculty to help them understand and recognize the difference between mature adult students and younger college students and how these differences affect the attitudes and expectations of adults when they come to the university.

Professional Women of KSU
The primary purpose of the organization is to support the basic mission of the University, which "affirmatively encourages diversity," by promoting the professional development of women at Kent State University.  Membership is open to all who have a concern about women's issues in higher education.  Membership also provides the opportunity to become part of a group that cultivates networking among women employees at Kent State.

Women's Resource Center
The Women's Resource Center provides resources, services and advocacy for the women of Kent State University and the greater Kent/Portage County community.

Work/Life Program
The Work/Life Program responds to needs of faculty, staff and their families in managing the demands of work and life to promote better health, productivity, learning and work/life satisfaction.  The program provides referral to family-friendly resources and promotes a supportive culture to ensure the accomplishment of the university's missions.  Potential benefits include improved employee loyalty, morale, productivity, recruitment and retention, decreased stress and absenteeism, decreased expenses and increased income.
