Facility
The Center is comprised of a director, assistant director, secretary, faculty associate, and studio educational consultants who conduct seminars and workshops in support of faculty professional development. Our physical location is in Moulton Hall on the Kent State University Kent Campus.  The fpdc consists of a studio, faculty lounge, faculty classroom, Moulton Scholar office, and staff offices.

Faculty Classroom
The fpdc Faculty Classroom is used for workshops, seminars, meetings and a host of other faculty and department collaborations. The room has an interactive Smart Board with projection system, Elmo for transparency projection, video cassette player, six computer workstations, and a center table where discussion can take place or wireless laptops can be used.

Lounge
Outside the fpdc studio is a warm and friendly lounge area where faculty and graduate students can either spend quiet time or attend brown bag presentations or meetings. Newsletters, magazines, reading materials and handout literature are available for faculty to read or take with them.

Moulton Scholar Office
There is one office in Moulton Hall designated for Moulton Scholars. The office has desks, computers for each desk, a shared filing and storage cabinet, telephone, and printer. A mailbox is located in the fpdc studio and a photocopier is available at a central location on the 2nd floor.

Studio
The mission of the fpdc Studio is to build a collaborative working environment where faculty and graduate students can receive help and support in using various computer technologies to enhance their teaching, learning, and coursework development. This is accomplished through Teaching and Technology discussions, clinics, seminars, and workshops, individual or group consultations, and open door access to the technology resources and equipment housed within the fpdc studio.
