From this module, instructors will be able to: A. Explain the meaning of the following concepts: intelligence, metacognition, learning preferences, temperament/personality typologies, and need-fulfillment as it relates to academic performance and classroom behavior . B. State personal characteristics that may influence one’s success as a teacher. C. Recognize students’ personal characteristics that may influence success in academic achievement. D. Incorporate knowledge of students’ learning-related characteristics into their classroom instruction.
